THESE ARE ESSENTIALLY RACING TIRES, MADE FOR THE PERFECT PAVEMENT OF THE AUTOBAHN.

Most Tesla-owners are dissatisfied with the durability, noise and tendency for wheel-grooving in these tires. These brands have been tested against a number of American and Asian tire manufacturers who also supply the same tires, but made for the North American market.

It is possible to dramatically improve ride comfort by selecting tires with softer sidewalls and lower speed labeling (W = 270 km / hour) Softer sidewalls rumbles less on the rough pavement we have a lot of places in the US, an asphalt type which contains a lot of rocks to withstand studded tires. EU laboratory values for noise, rolling resistance and wet grip coresponds very poorly with the experience our customers on this asphalt type and we recommend to only look at the US values, which is performed on real asphalt roads, by the US Government.

Durability is essential for both safety and economy!

Lexani's tires have stuck out as favorites among our customers. They produce ultra high performance-tires that are a bit softer in the sidewalls and hence fits the specs of Tesla S much better. Rigid sidewalls and low durability is suited more for trackdays and tire tests. Most American drivers will not have this type of characteristics in normal everyday driving on the road, especially when we have a lot of wear tracks in the road here in America.
